Newsome was my choice to win for a few reasons. The first is that he has the right look for being the top dog politically in Cali. Dude got the leading actor type of appeal. The second thing is that his fam is real cool with the billionaire Getty folks so that means he has some A-plus connections up his sleeve if needed to go there. The third thing he was really gamed up on the social networking way of communicating with people. He would've been able to do bigtime damage on the campaign trail using his friends and follwers on twitter, facebook and shooting out videos on youtube. He would've won in a landslide with the young, hip and tech savvy voters.

Jerry Brown and his team did a great job at digging up dirt, finding a skeleton deadly enough to get Newsome to punk out the way he did.

What I'm Talking About

More than a few times I said my piece about being good with having the ability to put food on the table, pay the rent, keep the lights on and still have enough to get direct TV.

Its all being done by the grace of God provided thru the form of an honest job. With so many executives and other people with high level degrees unemployed I'm thankful that I got money coming in steady.

My job is not too bad. I had worst gigs in my time and this one pays pretty well. Buying just to buy stuff is not who I am. Most of my money ends up being saved. Some folks call me cheap others believe I'm stingy. Spending money on things I don't need is a pure waste so I don't do it

From time to time I contribute some of my honest earned to develop my business GRM and its simmering nicely. We are going to break out on y'all real soon so be ready.

Eventually GRM activities will pay me and I can let this job thing go because its really for the birds. I appreciate having it but I can easily be another casualty in the unemployment line because there is no such thing as job security.

GRM is my opportunity to do something great and I will do my best to see that it reaches that status

Find A Way To Do It

Last tue, 1 was asked to find a videographer to film an event happening this fri. I told her that its too late in the game to get her prefered choice and most of the top ones are charging a lot more than she wants to spend.

She didnt want to go too low budget because the quality of the footage might suffer and be unusable. I told her the best thing I could do is post a job on the film academy's job board and see what we get.

The post was put up yesterday and we got 5 bids in already. I'm going to forward them to her and let her pick the one she likes best.

I believe in always the letting the woman choose because when they start complaining about stuff I can remind her that she's the one that picked everything out.

QUANTITY OVER QUALITY

Got me a nice netflix account. I can watch as many films as I want, three a pop at home for about $ 15 bucks a month.

Some movies are set up in a way that allows them to be watched instantly on the computer and that's super cool. I would love to do it like that, but my system acts nutty everytime I try, so I don't mess it, like that, anymore. I get my three at a time and I'm good with it.

Because of netflixs I try out many movies that I would not watch on cable or go pay to see at the show. I've had a few horrible boo boo water flixs, but most be at least watchable.
I have been with netflixs since 03 and I can now spot a stinker a mile away just by looking at the overview online, so only the most entertaining movies make it to my dvd player.

I got about a good 400 movies on my 'to see' list and I kick stuff out, add some in, switch up the order whenever I want to.

At the end of the day the overall quality of the movies depends on the taste of the person watching them, but the vast quantity of

Its What It Is

This came to me initially about 5 years ago and has passed through my mind many times before I decided to write it down. I would put it on paper but I have too much stuff and too little space as it is. So writing it in this blog is the ticket. I don't have to worry about clutter or it getting lost. Once I put it down here, its here forever.

I Had A Dream The Other Night

The mother of my child was in my dreams the other night. I have not spoken to her in over a year, ain't seen her in over 3 years. In my dream I was being showed pictures of her and I was being given a large wad of cash in my hands. I showed pics to my mother and we both confirmed it was her.


Then I remembered feeling good like I was going to get to see my son. My mother was happy because not a day go by that she doesn't mention something about seeing her grandson. After I get the happy feeling I wake up without having reunited with my son.


This was one of the better dreams that I had about my son. In most of them I'm chasing him getting closer, closer, and closer to him, but as soon as I'm about to catch em the dream ends. In other dreams I see em, but I do so from a far distance. I usually feel sad for days after having those dreams. This one gave me the sense that something positive was going to happen concerning me having a relationship with my son.


All yesterday and today I thought about it, then this evening I was about to take a nap when I received a call from a close friend. My tells me that they found my bm on facebook and have forwarded me the link. I look at it and indeed its her. She changed her appearance a bit, but its her. God works!!!


Now I need to contemplate my next move carefully. I want to see my son badly, but the bm is not wrapped too tight. Me just sending her a note might work her into a frenzy. I'll spend the next few days praying and thinking about the best way to handle this.

This is a good thing or at least I can't see anything bad about it right now.
Opportunities are coming my in abundance. In a manner that has never happened before. The only thing that I'm doing different is that I'm being more consistent in staying focused to whatever it is I'm doing.

God has always blessed me with health, loveones, intelligence, and a balanced state of mine. I was never really those folks who was addicted to chasing the money. I belived God was going to hook me up with whatever I needed, so there was no need for me to trip off what I didn't have.
If I didn't have it now maybe I'll get it somewhere down the line at another time.
By the looks of things that time is now! Its happening for me and I didn't have sell my soul to get it.

Promising The World

Had a meeting with this gentleman that presents himself as booking agency. I've been looking for one to me get gigs for some of the artists I work with. He was talking much high powered talk about doing parties for his rich clients all around the country. What he was talking about sounded real good, but I must see things work before I start getting all excited.

Mostly dude is trying to jerk our chains, but I'll give em the benefit of the doubt. That comes with, of course, a extra short piece of rope to hang his self with if he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Well, What Do You Know

I was doing some running around online and found out that there's a black owned internet bank. That shouldn't be so mind blowing or surprising, but there just not many financial institutions owned and operated by black folks.

Now if this bank is actually providing black folks with a good place to put their money, helping them get home loans, business loans and other services then we should all we can to support this bank.

I now many of us have bad experiences with black business, so you all might have some reservations about dealing with a black owned bank. I'm not going to even list the things you are concerned about because we all know what's up on that. I blame none you for having those feelings.

Folks are quick to slap a "first black this or first black" that and when we come out to help them they turn on us as soon as they get what they want. If a black or so called black person in business or politics use their blackness as way to market themselves to us. Before we give them any of our time or money we got require that they use their business or position to help the black community.

If they can't do it, then they should stop playing games with the ideal of black unity because to them, it don't exist.

It Takes Getting Use To

I was at work attempting to make the time go by a little bit quicker when got the inspiration to start trying to blog. Its not all that hard to do it, but its something that I have to make effort to do it regularly. If I don't do that it ends up being several weeks between my last and next blog entry.

I'll go out on a limb and assume that people who were big on keeping dairies find it easy to place daily blog entries. I was never that kind of dude, but I'm finding that slowly I'm developing a taste for typing my thoughts across the dialog box.

Most likely, I'll never become a big-time celebrity blogger or anything close to it, but maybe one day my children read these entries and come away with more insight about their father.

Do It Even Though I dislike It

I know that I'm not the only person who don't llke working on somebody's job, so they'll be a lot of folks out there that can appreciate this.
The main reason I don't like selling my time to these scum bag employers is that its never close to being a favorable exchange for me. These faggot faced rats get some the best hours of my life and give me has enough to keep from going under.
A niggie has to keep housed, fed, clothed, and utilities so I got play the jobbie job road to get by. I could feel better about it if there was a sense of appreciation expressed by the management acknowledging my efforts. Not only don't they careless, but I got to stay on they helmets to see that they get my check right.
I need to set aside more money to invest in my business. Lately I been slacking a little bit, but I'm ready to take it all the way.
I can put up with about 3 more months with this outfit and after that I need to bounce before I start snapping those penciled neck punks in half.
Would not want it to come to that, but I will put it down on em.

Making Living Easy

I had a conversation with my unc yesterday. We spoke about all sorts of thing from a to z, z to a, and back. We had grand time breaking bread over the phone. Towards the end of session he said something really stuck with me and I'm still trying to calculated it even as I write.

He said that it seems to him that the government makes living more complicated then it should be. He was not saying that it there should be no government, but he was saying that government create and enforce rules that go against human nature.

Little Bit Rusty

I signed up for this xtra blog in order to post updates from my cell. I ain't been able to get it to work properly. I writing this piece from the traditional browser, not the mobile one. I might need to get a phone with a better operating system on it.

I was looking to do some of those highly technical things, but I'm muddling in old school mode. That's real jacked up because I consider myself as a dude who stay on the cutting edge of tech game. I got to get on the ball and do this thing. I look forward to posting about how I this egg open and got this game down pat. It will happen.

New Media Tool

I was reading the SF Chronicle they mentioned 12seconds.tv and this site that let you post 12 sec video clips to myspace, twitter, facebook and other social networking sites.
Users can post video clips from mobile phones and webcams.

You can be as creative as you want to be. The only rule is the clips can't be longer or shorter than 12 secs. The nerds who created it did research and discovered boredom kicks in after 12 secs. I really don't take that part seriously, but it looks like it might be fun to mess around with. I just registered for it a few minutes ago. I'm going to feel it out and get back at yall with the results. Peace!

The Return

I'm here again and for the first time posting my words by way of my trusty T919. It shows that its good for this because most apps are not compatible with this phone. I thought about exchanging it, but there's so many hoops to jump thru that I don't even want to waste my time it. The touchscreen is nice, but you must get a screen protector or you'll be constantly wiping smudges off it.

For now, I'll still with it and stack some $ up to buy the htc model that's coming out in the summer. That's gon to be a real mug right there! My app game will elevate to the highest level. I can't wait. Good times are right around the corner.
